Where to Stay in the Peak District?
Buxton is in the heart of the Peak District with links to incredible experiences, great walking routes, close to landmarks amazing places to eat and events. As such was our first choice when looking for somewhere to stay in the Peak District.
Of all the places we did a digital deep-dive into No.6 Tearooms & Accommodation had everything we wanted. A perfect setting for a romantic getaway in the heart of the Peaks! A boutique place where you can select your room and look over the iconic Pavilion Gardens while having afternoon tea… if that’s not idyllic I don’t know what is.
Things to do in Buxton
We’ve cherry-picked a few wonderful things to do in the Peak District’s Buxton, but the possibilities in this beautiful British escape is truly endless. We’re both a little active and love a nature adventure but sprinkled in some amazing places to eat and some evening activities that are slightly more glamorous.
Where to Eat in Buxton?
Unfortunately, we were only in Buxton for a few days so we weren’t able to try all the amazing little restaurants this beautiful corner of the Peak District had to offer, but here are our top 3.
An incredible hearty British dinner at the Columbine Restaurant, a wonderful afternoon tea at No.6 Tearooms and lastly off-piste an amazingly authentic mouth-watering Thai restaurant called Simply Thai.
